Hello everyone! I have just spent my Sunday afternoon putting on the photographs for you all to see. I hope you like them! It would be nice to get some comments about what is put on the blog as I think that I may be doing it just for myself! Please feel free to add your comments as I try to have a look at our blog regularly. You could get your child to put a comment on (with your help)!
We are looking forward to our trip to the pine woods and are praying for fine weather! Children should all bring wellies if they haven’t got them in school already.

Since we have been back to school we have begun to learn the digraphs. So far we have learnt sh, ch, th, ng and ai. Please ask your child to show you the actions for these sounds and encourage them to identify words that have them in.

One Snowy Day on PhotoPeach

Please play the ‘Snakes and Ladders’ game with your child.
You will need a dice and if you do not have any counters you could use pennies instead.

The aim of the activity is for your child to take turns and count on (some children have the tendency to count the square that their counter is on and others have to be told when it is their turn).

The children have all played the game once and should be able to tell you to go up the ladder and down the snake.

i was very proud of the way in which the children battled the elements in order to go and sing in Asda on Thursday December 16. They raised £94 for Shelter. The children can enjoy their Christmas knowing that they have made a difference for someone else. Well done children!
